Last updated: 2026-09-23

Introduction & Core Principles

KayaWishCity ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our") is dedicated to providing an informative, transparent directory of Malaysia's local lifestyle, SPA wellness venues, and independent companion services. We deeply respect your privacy and follow a strict data minimization policy.

Key Notice:

  • No User Account System: The Platform is open for public browsing. We do not offer, nor require, user registration or account sign-in.
  • No Online Payment Services: We operate as an informational and review aggregator directory. We do not process, collect, or facilitate any online payments, escrow, deposits, or billing.

1. Information We Collect

Because this platform requires neither user registration nor payment processing, we collect only minimal technical information necessary to maintain website availability, performance, and security:

  1. Anonymous Technical & Access Logs: When you access the website, our servers automatically log standard network data, such as anonymized IP address, browser type, operating system, requested page URLs, and timestamps. This information is used solely for security monitoring, DDoS mitigation, and site reliability.
  2. Local Storage & Essential Cookies:
    • Theme Preferences: Saving your selected dark mode or light mode appearance;
    • Age Compliance Confirmation: Remembering that you have verified being at least 18 years of age to avoid recurring modal interruptions.
    • We do not employ third-party behavioral advertising or tracking cookies.
  3. Information You Provide Voluntarily: If you contact us via our official email address (contact@kayawishcity.com) for business collaboration, directory corrections, or feedback, we retain your email address and message content strictly to respond to your inquiry.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not request, process, or store:

  • Government-issued ID numbers, passports, full real names, or biometric data;
  • Credit card numbers, debit cards, bank credentials, e-wallet passwords, or financial payment details;
  • Real-time GPS location tracking.

3. How Information Is Used

The minimal data we process is used exclusively to:

  • Ensure platform stability, server health, and technical compatibility across devices;
  • Analyze anonymized aggregate traffic trends to improve navigation and directory content;
  • Detect, prevent, and mitigate malicious attacks, scraping abuse, or system vulnerabilities;
  • Respond to inquiries sent directly to our administrative team.

4. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties. We may disclose technical information only under strict circumstances:

  • Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal proceedings, or enforceable governmental requests;
  • Safety & Rights Protection: To protect the integrity, rights, property, and safety of the Platform, its visitors, and the public against unlawful activities or fraud.

5. Third-Party Links & Merchant Communication

Our directory displays public contact details (such as Telegram or WhatsApp channels) for verified local venues and providers. When following external links to communicate with merchants, you are subject to the independent privacy practices of those third-party platforms. We strongly urge you to safeguard your personal identity and never send advance money or deposits before arriving on site.

6. Protection of Minors

In compliance with local and international regulations, portions of our content cater exclusively to adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If we discover that information has been inadvertently gathered from a minor, it will be immediately removed.

7. Policy Updates & Contact

We may periodically revise this Privacy Policy to reflect platform enhancements or regulatory changes. The latest version will always be posted here with an updated revision date.
